We arrived in Auckland, and got picked up by a Lexus hybrid, FLASH!!! after a quick stop off at Mount Eden, we headed to our hotel the Langham....and its total awesome! we've got a wicked view of the sky tower. Tommorow im meeting some of the team from Sony at their Auckland store, before I head of to Dubai.
Last night we went to Dinner at Gina's a Italian Restaurant in Auckland the Food was the BOMB!!! and the staff were soo cool, the owner came over and invited me to come back tomorrow as Sky TV were coming, but was at 6am....
Anyway so after our dinner, we get up to leave and the waiter kind of ushes us back to our table, so were thinking, uummm maybe we have to have dessert??? is this some kind of Italian tradition??
then the lights go dim and the whole staff come walking thru singing in Italian and carrying a cake, Im thinking oh cool who's birthday! then they come to our table place the cake by me and the owner explaines to the whole restaurant " this is the Sony flagbearer he gona carry the flag in South Africa for us"
on the cake they had writted in chocolate World cup 2010 South Africa!
Man awesome aye, when we rung Dad last night, we kinda realised just how big this trip's going to be :)
